quadcopter operator, track and field athlete
I started running back in the summer of 2013 with a simplest goal — to lose some weight.
In a couple of months, I lost 12 kg and weighed just 69 kg. As a result, I got myself in shape, my life got better, and my love for running remained.
Then I learned about mass races at different distances — of 10, 21.1, 42.2 km and so on. Of course, I was interested in everything and I studied everything on the subject. 7 years later, I have run 20 marathons, 37 half marathons, and several non-standard distances like 30 km, 10 km… If you add up the data from all my trackers, it turns out that I have run 10.745 km
Speaking of big goals, I don't strive to become a marathon leader, not at all! For me, running is like a way of life, I really get my kicks from it!

6 years ago, a colleague of mine suggested that we participate in this adventure. Without much preparation we arrived at Sertolovo training grounds and only then realized what we had actually signed up for, but it was too late to change our minds.
Some of the experienced participants went off the race, but our team of newcomers made it to the very end: we even managed to overcome the Everest-obstacle - the last and the hardest of all. It was that point in a race when you realize that this is what it comes to - that the main competition is not with other participants but yourself and your fears.
2022: we closed up the summer season with a race at our familiar training ground in Sertolovo. This time there was hail, mud and puddles. We dived into 6-degree trenches, crawled under tanks, ran for kilometers knee-deep in puddles. Buckwheat after the race feels like the food of the gods, and after that you warm up for hours in the bathroom) ⠀
But the most valuable thing is the spirit of the shoulder, only a few would have passed the track alone, as a team we handled all the challenges at once!
